Title: Design Group Legal counsel  

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $52,000.00 to $75,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (1 vacancy) 

Skill Requirements:


Education: Completion of university


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Membership in the Canadian Bar Association, Membership in a provincial or territorial law society


Experience: No experience


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Private practice


Area of Legal Specialization: Family


Specific Skills: Advise clients of their legal rights, Plead clients' cases before courts of law, tribunals and boards, Draw up legal documents, Prepare statements of legal opinion, Negotiate settlements, Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, Conduct legal research


Additional Skills: Supervise professional, para-legal and support staff and articling students

Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people
