Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training


Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Membership in the Canadian Bar Association


Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years


Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English


Work Setting: Private practice


Area of Legal Specialization: Medical


Specific Skills: Advise clients of their legal rights, Plead clients' cases before courts of law, tribunals and boards, Draw up legal documents, Prepare statements of legal opinion, Negotiate settlements, Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, Represent interests of corporation/employer in all business related to legal matters, Offer mediation, conciliation and arbitration services, Conduct legal research
